It's been quite a while since I've posted on my blog, but I'm back at it again! Beverly at The Piece by Piece invited me to be one of her local designers for her new store in the Niles District in Fremont. Her store has lots of lace and trim, which are my favorites, so how could I resist receiving a beautiful bag of lace and trim to create with each month?
I decided to make an altered book for my first design team project. Here are pictures of the pages, links to the Piece by Piece products used, plus a link to the video with more details on the altered album. I've also included a few pictures of my other altered books that were used as samples in the video.
The cover has a Venise Yoke, Satin Scallop Edge Trim, Millinary Netting and a Flatback Pearl with Rhinestone from The Piece by Piece.
This page uses PomPom Trim and a rhinestone ribbon slide.
More of the Millinary Netting for the window, Dentelle Cotton Trim for the pocket, and a Beige Fabric Flower.
Venice Leaf Trim and more of the PomPom trim was used to make a banner.
Last page has another beige fabric flower from The Piece by Piece.
