AND THE WINNER IS….

First, my apologies for the delay in announcing my winner. Even though I wasn’t a part of the official Creative Jumpstart giveaways, I wanted to wait until Nathalie posted all of the other Creative Jumpstart winners –which she did today.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that left a comment on my giveaway post. I loved reading them all—they inspired me to create! I wish I could give each and every one of you a prize! Instead, maybe you’d like a tutorial? Read on…

And now….the winner of MY Creative Jumpstart 2013 giveaway will receive these items:

The little fabric "booklet"

and the tag booklet

And the WINNER is.....

Congratulations Darlene! Darlene, please send me an email with your mailing address to: ivannascrap(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject line: CJS Winner! You have until February 17, 2013 – midnight Pacific Standard Time. If I haven’t heard back from Darlene by then, a new winner will be drawn.

This week, I’ve been getting ready for my booth at Paris Flea Market.  Here are a couple of things I made for my craft booth--altered book photo holders and fabric heart pockets.  Check back on Sunday, as I will be posting a tutorial on how I made the fabric hearts.

And here are the altered book photo holders -- inspired by a class I took with Karen France, the one I saw in Somerset Studio, and especially the one I got to see in person at the Sizzix booth when I went to CHA!  Of course, I had to put my own spin on this project and added two Accucut drawers to the album!  Love it!

Here's a beach one----check out the mermaid I made from a mold I cast myself!

Added lots of beach stuff to the top of the drawers and especially love the little flag I added...

Last year,I made a glass bottle adding a starfish to the top of the bottle using Viva Decor products.  My bottle was displayed in the Creative Imagination booth for Summer CHA but I never got it back, so I'll have to make a new one.  In the meantime, I made a small one that goes perfectly with this beach photo album!

Congratulations again to Darlene!  And thank you again for leaving all those great comments!
Fabric heart tutorial coming on Sunday -- so check back soon!
